Occupational Therapist – Mental Health - Dublin

Occupational Therapist required for locum role in 10 bed Rehabilitation Ward in a leading purpose built mental health facility in North Dublin city.

The service provides specialist care and treatment tailored to the needs of the service users with a severe and enduring mental illness. Each service user has a recovery care plan which guides the treatment plan. This rehabilitation service aims to support people with complex mental health problems to gain or regain cognitive, emotional, social,

intellectual, and physical skills needed to live, learn, work and function as independently as possible in the community with the least interference by symptoms.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-structured Occupational Therapy team with access to excellent resources as well as working in partnership with the wider multi-disciplinary team.

Interested candidates will have :

• A recognised qualification as an Occupational Therapist with CORU registration
• Ideally post qualification experience with a significant portion of this working in a mental health service, in an acute of community based setting. Placement experience will be considered
• Available to start immediately or within a short period of time
