Position :

Reporting to the International CFO and to the Country Manager, the CFO for UK & Ireland will have a key role with responsibility for finance, tax and legal issues.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the finance function of a multi-company international focused business.

The CFO will also have responsibility for some operations in the Middle East, undertaken by our UK and Irish companies.

Responsible for planning and management along with leading the financial function.

This ranges from rigorous management and control of all economic and financial aspects, planning of financial strategies, overseeing of financial and accounting processes, and of budgeting, treasury, accounting, financing, management control and expenditure controls.

Requirements :

Key Responsibilities :

Direct and manage all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions ensuring smooth & timely execution of various accounting processes and reports.

Oversee finance, tax and legal issues.

Responsible for reporting, auditing, statutory and financial, and control.

Preparation, review and finalisation of monthly accounts and reports to meet month end reporting deadlines.

Preparation and review of monthly accounts and reporting packs to meet month end deadlines.

Managing cashflows of the company.

Monitoring the actual business performance, profitability and performance variance analysis against budgets.

Continuous review of internal controls and procedures to ensure adequate financial and non-financial checks and balances are in place to safeguard the validity of the balance sheet.

In coordination with business area and country manager, prepare the annual budget.

Develop and manage financial forecasting, cash flow forecasting and budgeting processes.

Role Overview

Lead and develop the finance team.

Ensure accounting and financial controls are applied consistently throughout the company.

Provide objective and independent judgement on the financial decisions of the company.

Responsible for the financial health of the company.

Requirements :

Strong communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking skills and the ability to prioritize workloads.

Ability to work in a team Fully qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA A minimum of 5+ years in a similar role – essential in international companies.

Experience working at Executive Level and advising and presenting information at all levels.

SAP user is a must.
