Chartered / Senior Building Surveyor Dublin, Ireland. €65,000 - €80,000+ DOE | Hybrid & Flexible Working Available I'm working with a leading international property consultancy that's looking to strengthen its team with the hire of a Chartered / Senior Building Surveyor in Dublin. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a commercially minded Building Surveyor who enjoys variety in their workload, wants a higher degree of autonomy, and is looking to work with some top-tier clients across the commercial property sector-including major institutions, pension funds, and high-profile landlords. You'd be joining a small but growing team with the backing of a wider national network, meaning you'll have the chance to build your own client relationships and shape the way you work-without the red tape you might expect from a larger corporate. The work is predominantly in the commercial space and covers a broad spread of core building surveying services. You'll also have the freedom to carve out a specialism if there's an area you're particularly drawn to. Key Responsibilities of a Chartered / Senior Building Surveyor : Contract administration and project work Technical due diligence and pre-acquisition surveys Dilapidations (both landlord and tenant) General building pathology, defect analysis and reporting Full range of professional building surveying services in line with a senior-level role Client-facing duties and support in business development activities What They're Looking For : MRICS qualified (Building Surveying pathway) Proven experience in a commercially focused surveying role Comfortable working independently and managing your own projects Strong report-writing skills and attention to detail Solid knowledge of building contracts and construction methods Confident communicator with a client-first mindset Full driving licence and access to a car The Package : Competitive salary (DOE) plus car allowance and fee-related bonus Hybrid and flexible working-laptop and phone provided Private health cover (after 6 months) Life assurance and personal accident cover 25 days holiday + charity leave + long service awards Pension scheme (after 3 months) Cycle-to-work scheme & season ticket loan available post-probation Support with professional memberships and ongoing career development This would suit someone who's commercially switched-on, technically solid, and looking for a step up-either from a mid-sized firm or a larger corporate environment.
