Lead Data Engineer

Location : Dublin

Salary : €90,000-110,000

Reperio have partnered with a software company who are on the lookout for a Lead Data Engineer to join their high-performing team. The successful candidate will design, build, and optimize our data pipelines, analytics platforms, and infrastructure. You'll lead a talented team of data engineers and collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and product stakeholders to ensure data is a strategic asset across the business.

Requirements :

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with 2+ years in a leadership or senior role.
• Expert knowledge of SQL and programming languages like Python or Scala.
• Proven experience with modern data platforms (., Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, BigQuery).
• Strong background in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, dbt, and CI / CD for data pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.

Nice to have :

Experience with real-time data processing (Kafka, Spark Streaming, Flink).

Data governance and security frameworks knowledge.
