Part Time Assistant Accountant Tallaght, Dublin 24 Permanent Part Time 20 Hours per week Salary : €50,000 (Pro Rata) Office Based My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Assistant Accountant on a permanent part time basis. The candidate will be required to work 20 hours per week. The client is flexible on five mornings or three full days. Experience of Stock Management would be a distinct advantage A good working knowledge of Excel is required. Key Responsibilities : Matching / Processing Stock Receipts / Invoices Resolve invoice discrepancies and issues in a timely manner Provide prompt and courteous responses to issues raised Bank Reconciliations Journal entries Month end close activities Assist in month-end reporting Supporting Year end activities Assisting in annual audit process Cash Application Assist with the Credit Control function Assist with the Payroll function Project profitability reporting Assist with all aspects of finance - AP, Journals, Reconciliations, Month End Help with the preparation of monthly management accounts Assist finance support such as AP (Accounts Payable) with supplier reconciliations Tax compliance - File statutory filings Various projects - system implementation, new controls etc. Other ad-hoc duties as required Key Skills : Part-Qualified Accountant with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role Demonstrate knowledge of Stock Management practices and proficient in data entry Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task Experience of working in a pressurised environment in conjunction with Senior Management Demonstrate solid problem-solving and analytical skills with a proactive approach towards investigating and resolving all queries Proficient with Microsoft office, and in particular, advanced MS excel skills Ability to work effectively within a team environment but also on own initiative For more information on this role, please contact Damian Ryan Tel : Skills : Assistant Accountant Part Qualified Accountant Stock Management Excel Benefits : Pension Death In Service Illness Benefit
