We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to champion health and safety across a major construction project. The successful candidate will provide expert advice, guidance, and support to the design and construction teams to ensure full compliance with all legal health and safety obligations. You will play a key role liaising with project stakeholders and embedding high standards of health and safety in all work processes and activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, communication, and implementation of project health, safety, and wellbeing strategies in collaboration with the Project Director and project board.
• Support the development of safe systems of work and risk reduction measures for temporary and permanent works.
• Fulfil Project Supervisor for Design Process (PSDP) and Project Supervisor for Construction Stage (PSCS) duties, including development of Safety and Health Plans.
• Promote engagement in health, safety, and wellbeing through training, workforce consultation, and competency initiatives.
• Lead research into innovative technologies and best practices to mitigate risks.
