Social Care Worker Children's Respite Part Time Position

Are you person-focused, empathetic, compassionate, and good at working on a team? We have a vacancy in Children's Respite.

Contract : Permanent Part time (19.5 hours). (days and nights) both available.

Candidates should possess the following :

• Bachelor of Arts in Applied Social Studies / Social Care or equivalent for SCW posts.
• A proven track record in the delivery of Person-Centred systems, services and supports and awareness of Positive Behaviour Supports.

Experience of working with children who have an intellectual disability.

Experience of a residential setting is desirable.

Be innovative, resourceful, flexible and have excellent communication, interpersonal, administrative and co-ordination skills.

Ability to work both in a busy team environment and independently.

Ability to support and facilitate independent living and community integration.
