Social Care Worker- Under 18's Residential- Dublin

Job description

You'll work closely with a multidisciplinary team to help them overcome challenges, break the cycle of homelessness, and prepare for independent living.

What You’ll Do :

  • Act as a key worker for individual young people.
  • Support young people who have experienced trauma and challenging behaviours.
  • Develop and maintain individual placement plans in line with statutory care plans.
  • Collaborate with external agencies for housing, education, and social support.
  • Maintain records in compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Participate in a 7-day, 24-hour roster.

What You’ll Need :

  • Degree in Social Care or related field.
  • Experience in residential care or working with children with complex needs.
  • Knowledge of HIQA standards, Child Protection, and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention.
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset.
  • Full, clean driver’s license.
