We are seeking an ambitious Associate Director / Manager to join our Quantitative Risk team within Risk Advisory, focusing on fair valuations of financial instruments, including derivatives and level 3 assets, primarily serving European and US banking and asset management sectors.
Responsibilities include : Leading engagements with banking and asset management clients in pricing and risk expertise, including independent model validation.
Implementing bespoke quantitative and qualitative frameworks for model validation.
Developing your expertise while understanding business strategies, products, and markets.
Contributing to business development through proposals and client relationship management.
Ensuring clear communication of work outcomes internally and externally.
Providing training and support to team members, including onboarding new hires and managing work allocation.
Skills and qualifications : Master's degree or equivalent in a quantitative discipline; professional qualifications like CFA, FRM, or ACCA are advantageous.
5-7 years of relevant financial services experience, especially in asset valuation, credit analysis, or financial modelling.
Extensive knowledge of pricing methodologies and risk management techniques.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to assess complex issues and distill information into solutions.
Knowledge of regulatory and legal frameworks is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior management and clients.
Proficiency in statistical and coding packages such as SAS, R, Python, VBA, C++.
Excellent MS Office skills.
