In this role, the successful individual will support users, identify solutions, implement new software and hardware, and ensure our continued alignment with evolving regulatory requirements.
Our ideal candidate will be able to communicate at all levels and take the initiative to remedy issues and drive improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesMaintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and end user workstationsManagement of Backups, Operational Resilience (BCP / DR / Incident Management) and SecurityDiagnose and troubleshoot issues with technical expertise, product knowledge & effective communicationsIT end user support, covering hardware and software for laptops, desktops & Office 365 deploymentsMonitoring system health & creating insightful metricsProject management and engagement with stakeholdersKPI and metrics relating to system performance and ticket source / reason / resolutionKnowledge Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Group PolicyExcellent Windows client OS skills – Windows 10 / 11Experience troubleshooting Financial Services Applications (e.g.
Bloomberg, Fidessa) and liaising with third party support teams to resolve issuesBasic Networking knowledge – Patching, installation of switches / routers.Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office ApplicationsKnowledge of backup solutions and principlesProven analytical and problem resolution skills and methodologiesAbility to work on own initiative and work well within a teamExperience administering print management software and printing devicesAdministration and troubleshooting IP voice systemsBasic project management skillsProfileProactive and self-motivated, with a strong ability to work independentlyEffective problem solver, focused on practical and sustainable solutionsNaturally inquisitive, always seeking to understand the bigger pictureCommitted to continuous learning and professional developmentRequirements : Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related subject, orMCSA, MCP certified or holding a relevant MS role-based certification3-5 years in a similar IT roleQualified applicants may enclose their CV by clicking the link below
