Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the role

Food is a core part of the employee experience in Stripe offices, serving to build community and nourish Stripes all over the world. Reporting directly to the Global Food Experience Manager, you will help define and execute a world-class culinary and hospitality strategy that is inclusive, sustainable, cost-effective, and aligned with Stripe’s values. This role isn’t just about managing meals; it’s about reimagining how food and hospitality can elevate the employee experience across our global offices.

As the Food Experience Manager, you will lead by example—balancing strategic planning with hands-on leadership—and serve as one of Stripe’s subject matter experts for food and beverage operations. You will be responsible for executing program standards, managing key vendor relationships, and overseeing daily operations across a defined region or focus areas.

This best-in-class opportunity requires a creative, organized innovator with strong culinary expertise, financial acumen, and a deep understanding of global workplace dynamics. You will collaborate closely with Workplace teams, cross-functional partners and onsite vendors to create seamless experiences that reflect excellence, hospitality, and heart.

What you’ll do

Seamlessly move between two worlds, supporting the day-to-day operations across EMEA and other regions as necessary (50%), while also helping to develop and drive global strategy for the Food Program (50%).

Responsibilities

Operational Responsibilities

  • Execute the strategic vision for the Food Program across your defined area(s) by creating high-quality, inclusive, and streamlined offerings that align to the global standards. Ensure our team is seamlessly integrated across all users who rely on our services, including events, executive briefings, leadership teams, and more beyond our cafes and microkitchens.
  • Act as Stripe’s onsite Food Program subject matter expert. Establish and uphold standards of excellence, ensure consistency and efficiency of products and services, and govern delivery of those standards
  • Managing and supporting vendor partners to ensure food quality, hospitality, presentation, health & safety, procurement, and sanitation meet Stripe’s standards of excellence.
  • Help develop and manage individual site budgets, ensuring our financial goals are met.
  • Implement guest feedback systems to ensure we are delivering the program in a way that meets Stripe’s needs regarding quality, service, convenience, and value.
  • Work with local site leadership to explore new ways we can enhance our guest’s experience through pop-ups, community building or wellness initiatives.

Strategic Leadership & Program Development

  • Be a key partner in managing food related programs or projects - from inception to delivery - developing scope, deliverables, required resources, project briefs, budget and timelines. Current projects include AI guest forecasting models, development of culinary specific RFP process.
  • Lead the exploration of innovative culinary trends to ensure Stripe remains a benchmark for workplace hospitality.
  • Be a key partner in creating and refining Stripe’s global food program operating principles and programmatic guidelines.
  • Participate in each assigned site’s vendor QBRs
  • Formulate and benchmark industry-leading catering / workplace engagement and compliance best practices.
  • Who you are

We're looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. If you meet these requirements, you are encouraged to apply. The preferred qualifications are a bonus, not a requirement.

    Minimum requirements

    What Sets You Apart

  • Visionary yet Hands-On : You thrive equally in global strategy meetings and in culinary production environments.
  • Culinary Mastery : 10+ years in high-volume hospitality, multi-unit operations, or corporate dining with deep multicultural knowledge and artisanal sensibilities.
  • Vendor Management : A proven team builder and cross-functional collaborator who can execute their vision through the onsite operations team.
  • Hospitality-Centric : You bring an empathetic, guest-first mindset with a commitment to delivering memorable, joyful experiences.
  • Financial & Operational Acumen : Skilled in P&L management, food cost optimization, labor tracking, vendor negotiations, and compliance.
  • Change Agent : Comfortable navigating complexity, leading through ambiguity, and introducing new ways of working at scale.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, Business, or related field.
  • 10+ years leading food and beverage programs in high-growth, global, or hybrid workplace settings.
  • Previous experience in multi-site restaurant, resort, or corporate culinary leadership roles.
  • Strong familiarity with food safety, sourcing regulations, and sustainability practices.
  • Why This Role Matters

This is more than a job—it’s a chance to shape how thousands of employees around the world connect, collaborate, and feel cared for at work. With responsibilities both regionally and globally, this is a great opportunity for an ambitious person who wants to stretch themselves beyond EMEA.

    Hybrid work at Stripe

Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams.

    Pay and benefits

For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions / sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and specific location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the primary location may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process.

Specific benefits and details about what compensation is included in the salary range listed above will vary depending on the applicant’s location and can be discussed in more detail during the interview process.
