Senior Quantity Surveyor – Tier  1 Contractor

Location : Kildare, Ireland

Salary Range :   €80,000 – €110,000

Key Responsibilities :

• Delivery of Mechanical & Electrical commercial services for individual projects
• Management of Mechanical & Electrical packages and subcontractors
• Estimation of Mechanical & Electrical tenders from first principles
• Estimating and take-offs
• Experience in Civils and Electrical Projects
• Experience in Renewable Energy Projects
• Experience in Cabling Projects
• Experience in remeasurable works
• Lead commercial and cost management throughout all stages—from tendering to final account preparation, including valuations, variations, and final reconciliations
• Conduct cost planning, budgeting, cashflow forecasting, and financial management / reporting for large-scale projects
• Analyse and evaluate subcontractor tenders; negotiate packages and manage procurement administration (from compliance checks to payments)
• Stream commercial processes, maintain accurate cost reporting, and advise on contract compliance and change management
• Mentor and supervise junior QS staff, supporting their development and onboarding them into project workflows
