I am delighted to be recruiting for a highly sought after legal firm based on the outskirts of Cork City. This client is looking for a legal secretary with 2 years + previous experience.

My client is looking for a candidate who has previous legal experience who is looking to continue their career as a legal secretary.

The right candidate will have a great work ethic, will be a team player and above all else be passionate about the quality of work they are delivering.

Permanent Opportunity

Salary : 35K + DOE

Responsibilities :

  • Legal Secretary activities : including but limited to opening, closing and maintaining files, document management, typing and amending documents, photocopying, booking couriers, answering the phone and taking messages for solicitors
  • Court administration : Preparing court documents and briefs; liaising with Counsel
  • Digital audio typing
  • Document management
  • Other duties as may arise depending on the workload across the Cork office

What do you need?

  • Minimum of two years legal secretary experience
  • Previous experience to litigation in the healthcare setting would be advantageous
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Previous experience and understanding of data protection software would be beneficial but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Very strong IT and systems capability
  • Ability to plan and prioritise and manage multiple activities at one time
