- Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro-rated for hours of work. REF : 86020 Essential : Hold a N.C.E.H.S. (National College of Exercise and Health Studies) or N.C.E.F. (National College for Exercise and Fitness) qualification, or an equivalent gym qualification, such as QQI Level 6 in Sports, Recreation, and Exercise (formerly FETAC Level 6), or QQI Level 5 in Sports, Recreation, and Exercise (formerly FETAC Level 5). Be familiar with key policies and strategies in sport, recreation, and health promotion, including Ireland's Code of Ethics and Good Practice for Children in Sport, the Healthy Ireland Framework 2013-2025, and the guidelines and resources from CARA Sport Inclusion Ireland (now Active Disability Ireland) for inclusive sports and physical activity. Experience working in one of these fields and specifically supporting people with disabilities will be an advantage.
