Warehouse Operative

Job Title : Warehouse Operative Location : Dundalk area, Co. Louth own transport is required F / T or P / TDayshift role working Monday - Friday RecruitmentPlus are delighted to be partnering with a successful organisation who are seeking to add to their warehouse team. The successful warehouse operative will be motivated and reliable to deliver excellent accuracy in picking, packing orders, storage and handling of products. Due to location, based just outside of Dundalk, you will most likely need your own transport.Temporary contract with view to permanency for the right candidate. This role is offered on a full time or part time basis with flexible start / finish times to accommodate morning / mid afternoon commitments like school pick ups etc. Requirements : Previous experience in a warehouse / packing / picking / production role is an advantage, but not required as full training will be given. Ability to perform physical tasks. Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic, good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in work. Forklift certification is a plus, but not mandatory. Key Duties & Responsibilities : Unload, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments. Verify the quantity and quality of items received against purchase orders. Label and store items in designated locations following company procedures. Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications and delivery deadlines. Prepare products for shipping, ensuring they are securely packaged and labelled correctly. Assist with loading delivery vehicles and coordinating with drivers for timely dispatch. Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate records. Assist with inventory control procedures, including stock rotation and reordering. Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages to the warehouse supervisor. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, ensuring all areas are free of hazards. Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner. Always follow health and safety guidelines and company policies, participate in training and drills as required and report any safety concerns or incidents to the warehouse supervisor immediately.
