Role : Rigid Driver Salary : €45,900 per annum, inclusive of mean tax-free allowance Duration : Permanent, full-time Location : North Dublin Benefits : Paid overtime for sixth working day, two rest days per week, company pension, modern fleet, supportive team environment Rigid Driver Leading logistics provider based in North Dublin is seeking a reliable and skilled Rigid Driver to join its professional delivery team. This role offers a stable schedule, excellent pay, and the opportunity to work with a reputable company serving the Leinster region. Drivers will benefit from consistent routes, early finish times, and paid overtime when working a sixth day. This position is ideal for experienced HGV drivers who are confident operating automatic, right-hand steer trucks and are familiar with driving on the left side of the road. The typical day starts between 5 : 00 AM and 6 : 00 AM, with returns to the depot generally by early afternoon, around 1 : 00 or 2 : 00 PM. The role involves multi-drop deliveries across the Leinster region and includes working every second weekend, balanced by two rest days per week. Responsibilities : Safely operate a rigid HGV vehicle (automatic, right-hand steer) on routes throughout Leinster Carry out accurate and efficient multi-drop deliveries Perform daily walk-around vehicle checks and report any defects promptly Complete all delivery documentation in line with company standards Work every second weekend with compensated rest days Maintain communication with dispatch regarding route progress or delivery issues Deliver goods in a professional manner, ensuring customer satisfaction at each stop Observe all transport regulations and safety procedures Requirements : Valid Irish or EU Category C (Rigid) driving licence CPC certification and Digital Tachograph Card Proven experience driving on the left side of the road Confidence in operating an automatic, right-hand steer HGV vehicle Ability to pass a company driving assessment Strong punctuality and reliability for early start times Multi-drop delivery experience preferred Excellent route planning and geographical knowledge of the Leinster region Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach What to do next : If youre interested in this role, click apply now.
