Healthcare Assistant -Full Time Post

(Salary Scale 383MER €34,036 - €47,454)
Suitable candidates must have :
Successfully completed a relevant QQI certificate (formerly FETAC) at level 5 (All 8 modules)
Minimum one year's full time paid experience working with people with intellectual disability or other care services highly desirable
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal essential.
A commitment to work with all residents who have varying support needs and complex needs to ensure they have full and meaningful lives
An ability to be flexible and professional in all aspects of work
An understanding of the values and ethos of the organisation and a commitment to implementing these.
Demonstrate an ability to support residents in all aspects of their lives, promoting their independence and personal development
Demonstrate a commitment to promoting the rights of people with disabilities.
Deliver safe and respectful person-centred care and support to all residents
Willing to work all types of shifts (i.e. Long Day, Short day, sleepovers, Split shifts, night shift) and patterns of work (weekdays, holiday periods and weekends) to suit the needs of the residents
Full Clean Manual Driving Licence Essential
