Senior Quality Technician

Role Overview : We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Quality Technicianto join the team. Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in upholding and advancing the company's quality and food safety standards. You will be instrumental in promoting a strong Food Safety Culture and driving continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities : Support the implementation and maintenance of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems in compliance with BRC and customer requirements. Work closely with production teams to ensure daily adherence to quality standards and specifications. Champion a culture of continuous improvement across all areas of production and quality assurance. Conduct internal audits, inspections, and root cause analysis to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented effectively. Assist in the preparation and hosting of third-party audits and customer visits. Promote Food Safety Culture through training, communication, and engagement across all departments. Ensure all quality documentation and records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner. Candidate Profile : Previous experience in a quality or technical role within the food manufacturing industry. Knowledge of BRC Global Standard and food safety regulations. Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams. Quality / Food Science qualificatiuon with a min 5 years exp in a similar role. HACCP / TACCP / Food Fraud Strong work ethic.
