Penguin Recruitment is hiring on behalf of a leading specialist acoustic consultancy with expertise in environmental noise.

Renowned for high-quality services, their projects span renewable energy (wind farms, solar, BESS), infrastructure (road, rail), and industrial ventures (data centres, manufacturing).

Location

: Hybrid role with remote work flexibility.

UK-based candidates welcome, occasional travel to Dublin, Ireland required.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee projects from start to finish, including budgets and technical assessments.

Write detailed technical reports and provide guidance to team members / sub-consultants.

Engage with clients, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure compliance.

Identify new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.

Develop strategies and proposals to meet client needs.

Requirements

Essential :

2+ years of experience in acoustic consultancy.

Expertise in EIAR-related large-scale projects.

Degree in engineering, environmental science, or a related field.

MIOA membership, full driving licence, and proficiency in acoustic standards / software.

Proven project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred :

Fieldwork experience in environmental noise / vibration.

Use of acoustic modelling software (Predictor, iNoise).

Expert witness and EPA licensing experience.
