Production lead

Production Lead Purpose To oversee production operations, ensuring equipment, processes, and teams deliver safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day production activities including scheduling, equipment care, and process improvement.

Coordinate with management to meet delivery schedules and inventory targets.

Ensure efficient use of resources (materials, equipment, people).

Monitor and improve processes to maintain quality and reduce downtime.

Lead and support the development, training, and performance of the production team.

Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Drive continuous improvement, preventative maintenance, and safe working practices.

Promote knowledge sharing, best practices, and employee engagement.

Key Performance Indicators Achievement of output and delivery targets Product quality and conformance Equipment uptime and efficiency Scrap / waste reduction Team development and engagement Budget and cost control Knowledge, Skills & Experience Degree in Engineering (preferably in Injection Moulding / Polymers) desirable.

Strong knowledge of production processes and equipment.

5+ years experience in a manufacturing / operations role.

Proven leadership and people management skills.

Understanding of quality systems, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
