About this Position
This is a hands-on SHE Specialist role focused on driving safety, health, and environmental standards across our operations, with a strong emphasis on risk assessment, contractor management, and continuous improvement in line with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
What you´ll do
- Support the implementation and upkeep of EHS management systems, including maintaining records and documentation in line with recognized standards (ISO 45001 & ISO 14001).
- Assist with coordinating construction project documentation, permits, and contractor management processes.
- Prepare and maintain records of task, equipment, chemical, and machinery risk assessments.
- Provide administrative support for the industrial hygiene programme, including scheduling monitoring and keeping logs updated.
- Support the EH&S team with documentation and communication for management of change and chemical-related projects.
- Coordinate logistics and materials for EH&S training programmes and keep attendance / training records up to date.
- Draft, format, and update EH&S procedures and ensure controlled versions are distributed and archived correctly.
- Assist in logging and tracking incident / accident investigations, including maintaining records of root cause analysis and follow-up actions.
- Provide administrative support for SHE projects and initiatives, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and preparing reports.
What makes you a good fit
A recognised third level qualification in Safety and Health and / or Environmental Science / Engineering is a requirement.Prior experience of working in a construction / manufacturing / chemical related industry.Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Excellent communication, leadership and presentation skills.Self-directed with demonstrated efficient work methods, problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.Some perks of joining Henkel
