Mechanic

THE MOTOR MEDIC LIMITED We are recruiting for fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technicians for our very busy workshop in Clondalkin, Dublin. This is a full-time position. The position entails working on privately owned vehicles of all make and models, as well as small and light commercial vehicles. Career level : Experienced Hours per week : 40 Essential : Driving Licence : Full : B Minimum Experience Required (Years) : 2 Years of Motor vehicle mechanics and repairers Experience Minimum Qualification : Level 6 (incl Higher Advanced Certificate & National Craft Certificate) Languages : English C2-Master (Fluent) Job Description & Skills Required The successful candidate will have experience of and be proficient in : computer diagnostics, fault finding and repair vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair identifying issues and reporting to the workshop Controller working on all make and models of cars and light commercial vehicles have good working knowledge of hybrid and electric vehicles have good customer service skills The successful candidate will also : be available to work occasional Saturdays be willing to adhere to workshop procedures and Health and Safety guidelines and protocols at all times have the ability to work well as part of a team work independently, demonstrating initiative and self motivation Qualification requirements : Irish Industry standard qualification papers for Motor Vehicle Technician, to be made available prior to interview stage Minimum of 2 years work experience post-apprenticeship qualification eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland and have PPS number Full clean Minimum B Class Driving License with no current or pending convictions or penalty points
