Catering Assistants Stepaside Dublin 18

The School Food Company has been in operation since 2011 and provides healthy lunch options for both Primary and Secondary school students. Our menu is prepared fresh onsite every day. The ethos of the Company is about healthy eating.

We are currently recruiting for full time and part time catering assistants in  Stepaside Educate Together Secondary School, Ballyogan Road, Murphystown, Dublin 18

This position operates around the Secondary school calendar.

Our employees are welcomed as part of the school community. Our employees are off at the break periods : midterms, Christmas, Easter and summer (unpaid). This may appeal to people with school going children. We do not offer set working days, flexibility in working days is essential. This position may not be suitable to people in part time education. The position is subject to Garda Vetting.

The position of  full time Catering Assistant   is approx 25 -28 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Shift time approx 7.30am - 2.00pm. Half Day Wednesday.

The position of  part time Catering Assistant   is approx 10 -15 hours per week, operating on a 2 day / 3 day rotation.

Shift time approx 8.00am / 9.00am - 2.00pm. Half Day Wednesday.

The roles involve the preparation of a variety of rolls, wraps, ciabattas, pasta & rice dishes. Service of small break, lunch and clean down. It is a very fast paced and busy working environment.

Previous catering experience, knowledge of HACCP and Supervisory experience an advantage.
