Health and Safety Coordinator Our client, one of the leading industrial launderettes in Ireland are looking to expand and grow their team by recruiting a Health and Safety Coordinator! THE COMPANY : Our client is a market leader within the industrial laundry services market, providing a range of services for a variety of clients in both hospitality and healthcare settings and are now seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator to join their expanding team. With a strong heritage in Ireland, an established brand name in Ireland with over 90 years providing service and an ever increasing headcount, this role presents an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to grow their career further. THE ROLE : The successful candidate will work on-site between their facility locations in Kildare, Wexford and Belfast with the role involving occasional overnights. They will have the following duties : Assisting with developing, implementing and managing the QHSE system for the business, ensuring compliance at all sites. Assisting with site inspections, site audits, developing RAMs, SOPs as well as monitoring compliance of all staff and sub-contractors. Documenting and reporting all incidents and near misses as well as implementing corrective actions. Assisting with customer issues related to quality and external bodies related to quality and environmental factors. THE PERSON : We are looking to speak to those from the following backgrounds : 1-2 years minimum Health and Safety, EHS or Environmental experience is essential A qualification in Health and Safety / EHS / Environmental Science is required Ideally production or manufacturing related experience, but candidates with construction related experience will also be seriously considered.
