An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join the car division of a long-established Irish business, part of one of Ireland's leading privately-owned automotive and engineering groups.
This is a key position within a dynamic, commercially driven environment where you'll work closely with senior management and gain exposure across all areas of the finance function.
You'll play a central role in supporting the CFO and the wider management team, overseeing a capable finance team of four and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting. This is a varied, hands-on role that combines financial management, business partnering, and process improvement.
The role will be offered initially on a 12-month basis with an opportunity for extension.
Key Responsibilities :
Act as a proactive finance partner to the wider car division team.
Translate financial concepts into clear, actionable insights for non-finance colleagues.
Contribute to commercial and operational decision-making.
Prepare timely and accurate monthly management accounts.
Analyse and explain variances to budget and prior year.
Support annual budgeting and in-year forecasting processes.
Prepare detailed cash flow forecasts and working capital analysis.Manage, mentor and develop a small finance team
Experience :
Strong commercial and analytical mindset.
Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
A natural curiosity and attention to detail.
