Financial Accountant - Dublin

Salary : Up to €75,000 depending on experience

Location : Dublin 9

Type : Permanent, full-time

A long-established manufacturer and distributor within the plumbing and building supplies industry is looking for a Financial Accountant to join their Dublin-based finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key role within a business that has built a strong reputation for quality, reliability, and long-term stability.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal part in managing the company's financial processes, supporting senior leadership, and driving continuous improvement across finance operations. This role would suit someone looking to combine hands-on accounting with commercial exposure in a growing and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Monthly management accounts.
• Prepare regional and divisional P&L reports.
• Detailed analysis (budget vs. actual) with insightful commentary.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and maintain the fixed asset register.
• Cashflow forecasting, fund management, and FX approvals.
• Prepare and submit VAT, Intrastat, and VIES returns (Ireland & UK).
• Support on payroll taxes, BIK, P11D, and related compliance.
• Supervise AP and AR activities
