Are you a passionate Senior Speech and Language Therapist looking to take the next step in your career?

Medforce are currently seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapistto join our clients prestigious acute facility in County Louth, managing a paediatric caseload with a strong focus on swallowing disorders.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment where you will provide specialised assessment, intervention, and management of swallowing and communication needs for children admitted to the acute service.

This is a 35-hour week spread across Monday Friday for a long term contract.

Key Responsibilities : Lead the assessment and management of swallowing and communication difficulties in paediatric inpatients.

Work collaboratively with medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Provide clinical supervision and support to junior SLTs and students as appropriate.

Contribute to service development initiatives within the paediatric and acute SLT service.

Requirements : CORU registration is essential.

Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience, including paediatric dysphagia.

Proven ability to work autonomously within a busy acute care setting.

Excellent communication, clinical reasoning, and team-working skills.
