Warehouse Operative

As a result of a rapid period of growth Capex Recruitment are working in partnership with an industry wholesaler in the Newry area on the appointment of a Warehouse Operative.

If you thrive under pressure, and have a will do attitude be able to work as part of a team but also on your own initiative then this could be the perfect role for you.

This role is key to the smooth operation of the Newry Head Office, controlling the flow of stock through the warehouse, monitoring goods in and out safely and efficiently picking, packing, moving and handling items and recording stock movements.

Tech Scheme : Select from Currys' extensive tech offerings, spreading the cost over 12 months with salary deductions and potential National Insurance savings of up to 12% 28 Days Holidays (including stats, Christmas & New Year Shutdown) Responsibilities in your new role : Picking, packaging and labelling orders before they are dispatched Checking for damaged or missing items and keeping accurate records Loading goods for dispatch Maintaining stock, storing goods and stock adjustments by hand or a forklift truck Checking and inspecting goods received, ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type and acceptable quality.
