Job Title : Endoscopy Nurse - Roscommon

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Endoscopy Nurse to join our healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients, monitoring their condition, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for patient care, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Provide direct patient care including administering medications, treatments      monitoring vital signs.
• Assess patient conditions and provide necessary interventions.
• Collaborate with doctors, healthcare professionals and families to ensure patient     well-being.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Assisting the Endoscopist
• Preparing patients
• Setting up equipment and follow infection control protocols

Requirements :

• Valid NMBI registration
• Minimum 6 months recent clinical experience
• Minimum 6 months experience within an Endoscopy unit
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Up-to-date Mandatory training. Direct Medics can provide in house Basic Life Support (BLS) and Manual Handling training
• Access to own transport is an advantage but not essential
