COO - Technology - Strong Commercial and Finance skillset required

Due to ongoing and anticipated growth,a market leading technology business,seek a commercially astute and experienced COO to join their leadership team.This role is based in Dublin with occasional international travel. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and growing business and play a key part in our expansion. While a COO role, the successful applicant, will also play a key role in finance and commercial strategy for the business. Therefore, somebody with previous experience in a senior finance or commercial role i.e. CFO / Finance Director level or Chief Commercial role, who is now in a COO position and looking for a new challenge would appeal. Alternatively somebody currently in a senior finance leadership role with a desire to move into a COO role to gain broader experience would also be a good fit. Experience working within a high-growth start-up business (ideally technology) where you had broad finance, operations and commercial responsibilities, through a key period of business growth, would be advantageous. In thiskeyposition, you will be driving the operational and financial success of the company. Working closely with the Founders,Executiveteamand business,tomaximiseopportunitiesfor growth. This role will suita self-starterwho is driven, ambitious andcommercially aware. Responsibilities Be a key and accountable member of the leadership team and play a role in reporting to the Board Work with the CEO andleadership teamtoset and deliverpositiverevenue,growthand margin targets. Enable the company to make timely and data led decisions throughout the organisation. Ensurepricing and sales strategyare commercially aligned tomaximiserevenue growth. Oversee relationships with keybusiness Partners,to ensure customer satisfaction and success. Be a core part of any futurefinanceraising,acquisitions orexitstrategy. Provide board level representation and help manage senior stakeholder and investor relationships. Drive the company's financial planning and analysis,to provide high quality forecasting. Perform risk management byanalysingthe organization's liabilities and investments. Ensure cash flow isappropriate forthe organization's operations. Requirements Proven experience in a senior leadership role as COO, CFO / FD or similar C suite role, with a strong commercial skillset. Track record in a leadership role in a fast-growth technology business ( SaaS or Enterprise Software, would be beneficial but is not essential). PreviousexperienceinM&A, Corporate Finance or similar would be beneficial. Previousexperience in effective exits through IPO or strategic trade sales process. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. Ability to strategize and solve problems. Strong leadership and organizational skills. Strong commercial awareness. Excellent communication and people skills.
