Our client is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen their threat detection, monitoring, and incident response capabilities. This role will work within a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment and help protect critical systems, applications, and data from emerging threats. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with SIEM tools, and the ability to investigate and respond to security alerts in real time. Key Responsibilities Monitor SIEM dashboards and security alerts to identify suspicious activity. Investigate potential threats and support incident response workflows. Conduct vulnerability scanning and coordinate remediation efforts. Analyse logs, events, and network traffic to detect anomalies. Maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation. Assist with security awareness initiatives across the organisation. Work with IT teams to implement hardening and best practices. Support audits and compliance reporting as required. Required Experience 35 years in cybersecurity or SOC roles. Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, Sentinel, QRadar). Knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS / IPS, and authentication methods. Familiarity with incident response methodologies. Strong analytical and investigative skills. Desirable Skills Relevant certifications (Security+, CEH, CySA+).
