Cad Technician - Structures

ATG are seeking a skilled CAD Technician specializing in structural design to join an exciting engineering team in Dublin.

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and detailed structural drawings, supporting engineers on a variety of projects including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure developments.

This role requires strong proficiency in CAD software, a solid understanding of structural systems, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and architects to deliver high-quality designs.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for structural components

Work closely with structural engineers to develop and modify designs

Ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications and industry standards

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated project documentation

Assist in maintaining drawing records and project documentation

Qualifications :

Diploma or certification in CAD or Engineering Design

2+ years of experience in structural drafting

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software

Strong knowledge of structural systems and construction materials

Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
