Treasure Tots Nursery, established in 1999, is a project dedicated to providing a high-quality early childhood care and education service in the Ballyfermot area. We are a community-based business with charitable status.

Due to the expansion of the service, we are now recruiting in a number of roles to join our busy team. The nursery is recruiting for the following positions :

Part Time Early Years Educator

Full Time Early Years Educators

Roles and Responsibilities

To provide quality early childhood care and education to children

To, guide, observe, stimulate and supervise children in a safe and caring environment.

To take direction from and report to the Room Supervisor

To work in close co-operation with the Manager and the other team members

To act, if required, as a key worker to specified children

Ensure the safety, security and wellbeing of all children in your care

To assist in the planning and implementation of an age-appropriate stimulating programme of activities which will enhance the childs natural growth and development.

To ensure all quality and safety standards are maintained in the service always.

The successful candidate must have

Minimum FETAC level 5 in Early Childhood Care and Education.

Knowledge and understanding of Early Years Policy and Practice, including Aistear, Siolta, Child Protection, Health and Safety.

Good communication skills, self motivated and ability to work as part of a team.

Have a genuine love of children and interest in their holistic development.

Hours

20 - 40 hours / week

Salary

13 - 15 depending on experience and qualifications
