JOB DESCRIPTION – PLUMBER

Overview

The Plumber will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for new builds, refurbishments, and housing projects. The role involves both domestic and commercial plumbing.

Key Responsibilities

• Install hot/cold water systems, pipes, valves, and fittings

• Diagnose plumbing faults and perform repairs

• Install and test heating systems, boilers, pumps, and radiators

• Carry out drainage and sanitary installations

• Read and interpret plumbing schematics and drawings

• Comply with Irish plumbing and building regulations

• Work closely with electricians and other trades

• Maintain health and safety standards on all sites

Requirements

• Recognised plumbing qualification or apprenticeship

• Minimum 2 years’ plumbing experience

• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work with copper, PVC, PEX, and steel pipework

• Knowledge of current Irish standards (SR50) is an advantage

Salary Range

€34,000 – €45,000 per year
