Principal Site Reliability Engineer

I have a brand new Principal Site Reliability Engineer position with a financial services client of mine based in Galway. This role would be a permanent and hybrid position paying €80-90k. You will be required to be onsite 1 week per month (3 weeks fully remote). Core Requirements Extensive experience working with AWS in live production environments. Managing and maintaining Kubernetes (EKS)clusters in multi-region setups. Experience creating and deployingHelm charts & libraries. Migrating workloads fromECSand running production services. Creating and deploying charts and reusable libraries. Authoring declarativeCI / CD pipelines and shared libraries. Experience withApache KafkaandConfluent platforms. CloudWatch, Datadog, Splunk Cloud et. Automating tasks and troubleshooting systems. Managing access across large AWS environments. Terraform for provisioning and configuration. Python for scripting and automation. Git for distributed code management. Familiarity withAkamaifor content delivery optimization.
