Warehouse operative

About the role Our client is a leading supplier of steel products across Connaught and the UK, with one of the most advanced production facilities in the country. They are looking for an experienced operative to join their team. Their state-of-the-art site includes automatic shearing, bending, and precision machinery, supported by continuous investment in automation and best-in-class practices. The successful candidate will work with advanced steel processing equipment, including the KRB Shearline machineand the MEP Automatic Bar Bending machine. Full training on these machines will be provided. Key Responsibilities : Operate and monitor automated steel processing machinery Support production targets to ensure high-quality output Follow health & safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment Carry out basic maintenance and quality checks on machines Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines What We're Looking For : Previous experience working in construction or materials sectors Physically strong and ability to lift heavy materials Strong initiative and a willingness to learn new skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Reliability and attention to detail What We Offer : Permanent, full-time position in a modern facility Competitive hourly rate : €15-€17 per hour(DOE) Comprehensive training on specialist machinery Opportunities for progression within a growing company INDWH Skills : Laboring operative warehousing
