Maintenance Coordinator

Maintenance Coordinatorrequired for our client based in Waterford.Reporting to the Production Manager, the purpose of this role delivers a high-quality maintenance service to production and the site wide facility. Lead a maintenance team of fitters / electricians in the day-to-day activities of a busy Engineering department. Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to : Problem solving mechanical / electrical issues on the Manufacturing plant with the Maintenance team. Accountable for Maintenance downtime, root cause analysis and problem solving on plant. Responsible for the maintenance of the parts system for new lines and maintenance of mechanical parts system for exiting lines and services. Management of PO system for the Maintenance department working in tandem with the Administrator. Involved in continuous improvement projects for the company. Manage suppliers and costs for the Maintenance Department. Plan and issue all preventive maintenance requests for the company and liaise with the Production Manager on the resourcing of personnel for on - going preventive maintenance duties. Review weekly preventive maintenance to ensure compliance to company plan. Collaborate with the Operations team to reviewissues and create solutions. Take positive action to maintain compliance to the Food Quality and Safety system and to drive improvements in food safety culture. Qualifications / Experience / Skills : Minimum 5 Years experience operating in a regulated industry / environment qualified mechanical fitter / Mechanic. Excellent Problem-solving skills. Excellent PC skills. Demonstrated previous project management skills are essential. Basic knowledge of Electrics an advantage. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. Should have good verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrates a logical approach to problem solving. Has a can do attitude.
