We pride ourselves on attention to detail and a solid reputation for satisfied clients. Job Summary : We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Projects include new builds, refurbishments, conversions, extensions, renovations, landscaping, decorating, and maintenance. Key Responsibilities : Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp project requirements. Take precise measurements and calculate the size and amount of materials needed. Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to measurements. Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings using raw materials or pre-constructed items. Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall ensuring they are level and compatible. Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them where designated. Inspect places and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed. Erect and dismantle scaffolding and other construction structures. Ensure compliance with local building and safety codes and guidelines. Qualifications : Proven experience as a carpenter. Hands-on experience working with carpentry materials. Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. Proficiency in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (e.g., powered saws, hammers, rulers). Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
