This role is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, proactive individual who is dedicated to managing the BC warehouse team to continue to achieve & deliver a high standard of professional service.

The primary function is to manage day-to-day warehouse activities across the site, to provide up-to-date information, and to communicate to the highest level internally and externally while ensuring that all service levels are met and where possible, exceeded.

Manage and drive productivity and scanning accuracy in order to maximize all resources whilst ensuring adherence to customer levels and targets.

Leading by example actively promotes and fosters a culture where health & safety / hygiene and customer service are of the highest priority.

Duties & Responsibilities

Managing the night HUB and maintaining high warehouse operational standards.

Contributing warehouse information to operational plans and reviews; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.

Ensures all operational functions and processes are completed in accordance with company policy and statutory legislation e.g. Health & Safety, Security and Quality Standards.

Maintenance of training records and holidays, managing the development of employees in order to ensure adequate cover of during periods of holidays / absence and in response to fluctuations of peak volumes.

Co-ordinating vehicle loading / unloading with the warehouse team each night.

Ensuring comprehensive shift handover takes place at the end of each shift with oncoming management and completing the relevant handover documentation in full for review by the Warehouse Manager.

Manage the scanning accuracy of the warehouse team and ensure it is maintained at high levels consistently.

Maintenance of training records, Overtime, performance reviews, and holidays, managing the development of employees in order to ensure adequate cover of during periods of holidays / absence and in response to fluctuations of peak volumes.

The ideal candidate will have

3 years + Supervisory experience (preferably in a large FMCG environment).

Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).

Excellent leadership and people skills.

Excellent attention to detail and Analysing skills.

Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.

Degree / Qualification required relevant to this area (desirable).

Proactive and self-motivated, who learns quickly and can work under minimum supervision.

Excellent team player and communication skills essential and enjoys colleague interaction.

"Hands on" role and must be able to prioritise tasks and must be flexible.
