Cost Accountant

Financial Planning Analyst - Cost Accountant Orange Recruitment are seeking a detail-driven FP&A / Cost Accountant with strong cost accounting experience in manufacturing.

This role blends financial analysis and cost accounting with hands-on factory engagement, supporting leadership to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and drive performance.

Full time, Permanent position Location : Drogheda, Co Louth Salary : €75,000- €85,000 DOE Hybrid working (4 days in office, 1 day WFH) Key Responsibilities Own product costing, BOMs, and gross margin analysis.

Analyse plant and line efficiency; develop KPI reporting.

Partner with senior leadership on cost-saving and investment decisions.

Support new product launches with accurate costings.

Conduct CAPEX, labour, and overhead analysis.

Requirements 3+ years' cost accounting or FP&A experience in manufacturing.

Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling skills.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Knowledge of lean principles; FMCG / food experience a plus.

This is a varied role (40% factory floor, 60% desk-based) offering the chance to make a real impact.
