The 4star Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club is seeking an enthusiastic and qualified Swim Instructor to join our dedicated Leisure team. Conveniently located just a short stroll from Maynooth town centre and only a 25minute drive from Dublin City Centre, the Glenroyal Hotel is easily accessible via national rail and bus services.

Role Overview :

As a Swim Instructor at the Glenroyal Leisure Club, you will play a key role in delivering highquality swim instruction to individuals and groups of all ages and abilities.

Main Responsibilities

Instruct and coach individuals and groups in exercise activities and the fundamentals of sports.

Demonstrate proper techniques and methods of participation. Observe participants and inform them of corrective measures necessary to improve their skills and monitor their progress.

Explain and enforce safety rules and regulations within the Leisure Centre.

Plan routines, select appropriate music, and choose different movements for each set of muscles, depending on participants' capabilities and limitations.

Evaluate individual's abilities, needs, and physical conditions, and develop suitable training programs to meet any special requirements.

Skills & Experience Requirements :

A minimum of 1 year working as a Swim Instructor in a Leisure Center or a Gym is essential

Fully qualified and certified Swim teacher - Level 12 (Cert. in date)

Valid Lifeguard certification

Certified in Occupational First Aid (Cert in date)

Excellent timekeeping and communication skills

Ability to work on own initiative

Must be eligible to work in Ireland

Must be fluent in written and spoken English

Must be available to work at least 3 shifts per week
