Finance Administrator

Location : Naas, Co. Kildare

Salary : Competitive (including benefits package)

Job Type : Permanent, Full-Time

Our client is seeking a Finance Administrator to join a busy and multi-functional finance team based in Naas. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and solid finance knowledge to contribute to a fast-paced and growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities :

Support a wide variety of finance tasks, including VAT queries, regulatory reporting, and month-end / year-end financial close processes
Reconcile supplier turnover with the general ledger to ensure accurate calculation of customer rebates
Post rebate journals to customer accounts on a monthly basis
Liaise with a nationwide network of member companies to resolve queries regarding rebates and supplier trading terms
Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit
Generate monthly customer purchase reports
Work closely with senior management to assist with general finance queries and project-based work

Skills & Experience Required :

Strong Excel skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

High level of accuracy and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Previous accounts or finance experience; IATI qualification or part-qualified accountant desirable

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Proactive, organised, and able to manage tasks efficiently in a dynamic environment
