The role of Governance Support Manager is a key support role for the Board, Board Committees, ExCo and the Governance & Secretariat Team. The Manager role is focused on building and supporting the administrative functions for our team. Reporting to the Head of Governance & Secretariat, as the Governance Support Manager you will play a key part in ensuring governance and operations are functioning effectively. This critical role will involve Bank-wide stakeholder engagement and will require a relentless focus on delivering positive customer outcomes and ensuring all operational processes and initiatives are managed in line with the expectations of Board and Management. Responsibilities : Organise meetings such as the Board, Board Committees and ExCo; undertaking responsibilities such as agenda management, document collation and circulation, communicating actions with owners and gathering updates, logistics (catering, rooms etc.) and maintaining effective communication with colleagues and board members; Support and attend Board and ExCo meetings as required; Minutes governance support; Work with Company Secretary to develop and implement annual cycle of meetings; Manage the office calendar; Oversight of inbound and outbound departmental documentation; Requirements : 3 years + work experience in professional environment (linked to qualifications above) Strong administrative skills with a key focus on attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. A high level of organisational ability. A high proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Access. Capacity and confidence to manage the expectations of senior executives and Board members. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demanding initiatives concurrently, balancing multiple priorities and execute against tight timeframes.
