Bin Truck Driver

Labour Force are recruiting for Bin Truck Driver for a full time, permanent position on behalf of our client who is an industry leader in the Refuse Collection / Waste Management Industry based in Kilcullen, Co.

Kildare.

Successful candidate will be responsible for commercial and domestic wheelie bin collections in the Kildare, Carlow, and Wicklow service areas.

Key Responsibilities : Collect various waste streams / bins from customer locations across the route network Maintain company vehicles and property in a safe, clean, and roadworthy condition Supervise helpers while on route, ensuring work is completed safely and professionally Complete paperwork and vehicle safety checks daily Comply with all company policies and initiatives to ensure the safe and efficient operation of company vehicles Report any difficulties encountered with others to the line manager Show courtesy to all customers, members of the public, and work colleagues at all times Fully cooperate with all provisions taken by the company to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of co-workers and members of the public.

Key Requirements : Valid C driving licence CPC and Tacho card Previous experience in similar role Manual Handling certificate Strong understanding and adherence to legislative, company and health & Safety processes / policies whilst driving / in the workplace Good Written and Verbal English essential Hours of Work : Monday - Friday Saturday prior to Bank Holiday Mondays Start time between 6 and 7am average 8 to 10h shifts Benefits : €17.00 per hour Overtime paid at €25.50 Tax free sub paid at €11.50 Safety bonus of €400 each year Pension match after probation period - 5% paid by company Discount on household bins Discount on skip hire Skills : Communication Time Management Team Work Benefits : Subsistence
