Salary : €60,000 - €75,000 (DOE) About the Role A rapidly growing global tech company is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer with strong experience in .NET Core and C# to join their development team in Dublin. This role is focused on building robust backend services and APIs as part of a high-performing team delivering scalable, secure, enterprise-grade software. You'll be working on modern cloud-based applications, contributing to architecture, design, development, and maintenance of backend systems. Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend services and APIs using .NET Core / .NET 6+ and C# Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code following software engineering best practices Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing Support continuous integration and deployment processes Troubleshoot and debug application issues in cloud and on-prem environments Key Skills & Experience 3+ years' experience in software development using C# and .NET (Core / .NET 6+) Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and implementation Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server Familiarity with cloud platforms, ideally Azure or AWS Comfortable working in Windows and Linux environments Understanding of OOP principles and common design patterns Proficiency in version control tools such as Git Desirable (Bonus) Skills Experience with scripting (PowerShell or Bash) Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and DevOps practices Exposure to containerisation tools like Docker Performance tuning and application monitoring If you're interested, please apply below.
