Unijobs DAC are currently recruiting a Payroll Administrator to work within Dublin City University (DCU). The role is initially anticipated to be between 3-6 months in duration with a possibility of extension thereafter. The rate of pay is between €23.06 -€24.78 per hour, but will be determined based on the candidate's experience. The position is full-time working 35 hours per week at the Glasnevin Campus, but once training has successfully been completed, there will be an option to work 2 days remotely. Job Overview Reporting to the Payroll Manager, the role will be accountable for payroll related administration and processing duties associated with a busy payroll function within the University and subsidiary companies, as part of the Payroll team. The role will liaise closely with team colleagues, other Finance Office teams, subsidiary companies, departments and schools across the University, as well as external stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities : The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not restricted to, the following : End to end payroll completion of weekly\monthly payroll runs for various staff groupings within DCU and the subsidiary companies including collating, inputting and reconciling all the relevant input data. Retrieving and uploading Revenue Payment Notifications (RPNS) for the applicable companies & also reconciling and filing payroll submissions\returns on ROS and uploads to the General Ledger. Providing cover for payment runs for end to end payroll completion when other payroll admins are on leave. Working with the Payroll team to reply to staff payroll queries. Completion of various Payroll related query forms regarding Salary certs, Dept of Social Protection forms etc. Liaising with the DCU People Services team and Business Units on any related payroll issues. Assisting the Payroll projects team when required with system upgrades and process improvements. Assist the Payroll team addressing related Internal and External Auditor queries.
