SHEQ Manager

Job Location : Cork

Inform3 are recruiting for a SHEQ for a busy civil contractors based in Cork working on Irish Water projects.

The SHEQ Manager will responsible for the management and maintenance of the companies ISO 14001 : 2015 Environmental Management System; ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management System & ISO 9001 : 2015 Quality Management System.

SHEQ Manager Job Role :

Ensuring that the Management and Environmental Management System conforms to the requirements of ISO9001 : 2015 & ISO 14001 : 2015

Setting the highest possible standards of leadership in promotion of HS&E procedures, ensuring compliance with Company procedures and legal obligations

Reporting on the performance of the Quality and Environmental Management System and on opportunities for improvement, in particular to Top Management.

Control of Document Information

Responsibility to act as liaison with external parties on matters relating to the Health & Safety and Environmental Management system,

Customer focus throughout the organisation

Internal Auditing within company

Implementing and maintaining the Health & Safety and Environmental Management System,

Ensuring that the integrity of the company's Quality Management System is maintained when changes to the Quality Management System are planned and implemented

SHEQ Job Specification :

Min.

Level 8 Qualification (or equivalent) in Occupational Health and Safety

Min.

Certificate Level in Environmental Management,

IOSH Membership,

5 years + experience

Previous experience in the civil engineering industry a preference,

Valid Safe Pass and / or SMSTS card holder,

Experience of co-ordinating Health and Safety,

ISO Quality Standards,

Internal Auditing Experience,

Conducting risk assessments and corresponding corrective action plans,

High level of administrative / IT Skills

Willingness to travel
