The Role

We’re seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer with deep Kubernetes expertise to design and optimize container orchestration in a hybrid cloud environment. This is a strategic, hands-on role focused on scaling platforms, automating infrastructure, and ensuring operational resilience and security.

Key Responsibilities

Design and manage Kubernetes clusters across Azure and hybrid environments
Build and optimize container orchestration frameworks to support rapid application delivery
Implement monitoring, observability, and security controls for cloud-native workloads
Lead automation initiatives (Terraform, Python, GitOps) to reduce manual operations
Streamline CI / CD workflows in collaboration with development teams
Design HA and DR solutions for critical enterprise systems
Mentor engineering teams and champion platform best practices

What You Bring

10+ years in enterprise IT, with 8+ years in cloud and container platforms

Proven experience delivering complex cloud migration projects at scale

Strong leadership in regulated or security-sensitive environments

Technical Skills

Expert-level proficiency with Azure (AKS) , OpenShift , and Istio

Solid experience in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

Advanced scripting skills (Python, Bash)

In-depth knowledge of DevOps tooling, GitOps, and automation practices

Familiar with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) and container security

Certifications (Preferred)

Azure (AZ-, AZ- or equivalent)

Kubernetes (CKA, CKAD)

AWS certifications a plus
