Support Worker

Position Title : Support Worker Centre : Residential Services, Co.

Offaly Coolebridge are currently recruiting for Support Workers within our residential services in Birr Co Offaly.

Applications are open to both graduates and experienced professionals.

Coolebridge Care provide a range of residential services to meet the growing needs of vulnerable adults, families, and those most marginalised.

Services include Long Term Residential, Emergency Residential and Residential Family Support Services.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team and under the guidance and supervision of the Centre Managers, you will be responsible for providing quality driven, trauma informed care to the residents availing of our services.

You will ensure secure and sustainable living arrangements to vulnerable people aged 18 + years.

This role will suit proactive, accountable, and flexible professionals with an interest in human rights and equality, trauma informed care and working with marginalised & vulnerable individuals and families.

Positions : Support Worker level 6 and above with 2 years residential experience : From €14.92 to €16.42 PH dependent on qualification and experience Typical schedule Social care workers - Day and Live Night cover - 4 X 12 hr shifts per week / 3 x 12hr on rotation Employee Benefits : Paid core training allowance State Maternity Cover Professional Supervision Education Assistance Professional Career Development Team Building Activities Company Social Events & away days Qualifications & Experience : Candidates from the following fields with related qualifications at Level 6, level 7 or Level 8 achieved in Ireland and / or an Internationally recognised qualification of similar value are welcomed : Social Science, Child Care, Social Studies, Social Policy, Social Inclusion, Family Support, Nursing Studies, Disability Studies, Behavioural Sciences, Early Years Care, Psychology, Counselling, Psychotherapy, Addiction Counselling, Youth and Community.
