Key Responsibilities
Improve Health & Safety performance in production facilities.
Identify and propose safety measures across all production facilities.
Foster a positive health and safety culture among staff and stakeholders.
Communicate and update H&S policies, risk assessments, and procedures effectively.
Oversee hazard identification and risk assessments, ensuring regular reviews.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure proper use of PPE.
Develop and implement H&S plans for construction projects as needed.
Schedule and conduct inspections and audits for compliance.
Train and mentor employees on H&S procedures.
Investigate H&S incidents and implement corrective actions.
Manage contractors through pre-qualification and supervision.
Support compliance with safety, health, and welfare regulations.
Report key performance indicators (KPIs) in meetings.
Perform additional H&S management duties as required.
Skills & Experience Required
Diploma or Degree in Health and Safety (essential).
Electrical craft / engineering qualification (desirable).
Experience in health and safety management in production or manufacturing.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Proactive in H&S investigations and policy development.
Ability to interpret legal and technical information.
Experience in implementing and revising H&S policies.
Strong interpersonal skills for conflict resolution and teamwork.
Ability to manage workload independently and support team goals.
Attention to detail with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
